3DM dovoz Inventor je Rhinoceros 3DM soubor import add-in pro Inventor. Tento doplněk umožňuje Inventor možnost importu geometrických dat z 3DM souborů. 3DM dovoz Inventor čte polygon sítě data uložená v souborech 3DM a jeho dovoz do Inventoru. Polygon sítě v 3DM soubor se skládá z řady trojúhelníkových a / nebo Quad tváře. 3DM dovoz Inventor vytváří zdobené rovinné plochy pro každý trojúhelník / Quad a plete dohromady vytvořit skupinu. Je-li polygon síť je uzavřená (tj. neobsahuje hraničních hran), pak 3DM dovoz Inventor vytvoří uzavřená karoserie funkci, jinak otevřená plocha bude vytvořena. 3DM dovoz Inventor je velmi snadné. Po instalaci se automaticky načte se do Inventor a přidá nové menu s názvem "3DMImport" pro Inventor menu.

3DM Import for Inventor is a Rhinoceros 3DM file import add-in for Inventor. This add-in gives Inventor the ability to import Geometric data from 3DM files. 3DM Import for Inventor reads polygon mesh data stored in 3DM files and imports it into Inventor. A polygon mesh in a 3DM file is comprised of a set of triangular and/or Quad faces. 3DM Import for Inventor creates trimmed planar surfaces for each TRIANGLE/quad and knits them together to Create a body. If the polygon mesh is closed (i.e. it does not contain boundary edges) then 3DM Import for Inventor will create a closed body feature, otherwise an open surface will be created. 3DM Import for Inventor is very easy to use. Once installed, it automatically loads itself into Inventor and adds a new submenu called "3DMImport" to the Inventor menu.
